09 Jan Enter a New Gateway
Well its been a while since our last blog post – a lot has happened. We sadly packed up our belonging from Lindum Business Park where Gateway had its main office for the past 6 years and moved into our new office on Stirlin Business Park. Its been a long slog getting all the work done; ensuring the Comms Room is right with space for all the phone systems to be configured when they come in, but we finally moved in back in September.
At the beginning of November we held our official open day, complete with balloons and cake, it felt like a great welcome to the Business Park. Now we are striding forward towards world domination.
This latter half of the year has seen us quoting and installing telephone systems for medical practices both human and veterinary. This tends to involve everyone in the office having areas of ‘expertise’ and phones everywhere. We have John out installing another system ‘up north’ over the next couple of days, whilst back at the ranch Paul and I, prep the next installation.
What’s happend during the Year
Earlier this year, we had a great little install for Bransby Horses, which I was very keen on. I managed to con John into accompanying him on his initial site visit. Point to Point Ariel Satellite is a great idea for covering short distances on farms etc, where its too rural for existing infrastructure; allowing offices to keep in touch with one another.
Other exciting developments include our new logo! The ‘BIG G’ – we decided to ditch the clouds & have a lovely new logo from a local company. They have then done all the signs for the office, sign wrapped the van and the other bits that go with it.
So there we are the Gateway Gang for 2017 – with James from Stirlin Developments. Set for the final few months of the year, dealing with telecoms, sorting faults, installing systems and sorting out your telecom and IT issues.
“Who ya gonna call……. Phone Busters!!”
(Paul will make me take that down!)
